This might not be the right forum for this... I'm not afraid to do some research, but I don't even know where to start. Therein lies my question. Where can I find information on interacting with online search pages from other peoples sites (like google or yahoo)? I know that they have software that will put in keywords and grab all of the email addresses available (I don't want to do that); Instead I would like to type in a keyword and count unrelated words... well, I would just like to know where I should look for Information on this type of program... thanks.
Large web entities like google and amazon, etc offer what are called web services. These web services provide APIs that you can call remotely (i.e. from your site).
