How to you go about getting a hosting service that you can resell? I seen vBulletine, are there any that are cheaper than $160? Do you have to already have you a website name? Like do you pick the name, buy it, then get a forum?

Hi, Are you talking about web hosting or forum hosting or a forum ?
What I want to do is make up a forum. Build it up with content, posters, ect.... Then resell. That is 1st on my list to learn about. I have made up simple websites using like Lycos and geocities and all the freebies. But you can't sell them, lol. I would like to do that one day as well, but for now just a forum.

The hardest part when you want to put up a website on your own is programming. I know this is easy to learn but problems will come up once you begin to build your website and that can take up much of your time trying to figure out the solution.
If you want to start a forum for making big community then resell it, I think there are many free host available for your site. You can also join some forum hosting site which offer you host on you posts. This type hosting called" posting for host".
