    Hi
This may be a long shot. Anyways I am taking my chances. I am planning to build a small business website (just plain HTML stuff as of now) and I want to build it in such a way that it follows the general guideline of SEO.

Now my question: Is it a good practice to use Frames in the website from SEO point of view? I had read somewhere that using frames is not a good idea.

Can anyone give some thoughts on it?

    Thanks

I think you could receive more answers if you post this under SEO forum but anyway using frames is not a good idea in any point of view, Neither SEO nor anything else unless you have to.

    Hi,

    My answer is no.

as there are many reasons, that you should not use frames.

    1. Some of the browsers don't support them dont think that every one out their got good browsers like you have.

    2. Their alignment is much harder to control as I have post a thread on screen resolution problems.

    3. When there is a new technology of AJAX that can handle this situations much better, then why you will have to use the frames. It is providing the same functionality as the frames were.
