In addition to the rules posted here, you are required to read any individual forum rules which may be posted at the top of specific forums as Stickyed Threads or Announcements. By using these forums, you further agree to abide by httpForum's Terms of Use . httpForum.com staff assume members have read them and will not take ignorance of any rules as an excuse for not following the rules, policies, and guidelines outlined here and in the Stickyed Threads or Announcements.
Posting Guidelines:
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
1. The use of profane words; 2. Attempts to circumvent censored words/phrases ; 3. Personally attacking an individual or organization; 4. Posting of any copyrighted materials without the express written consent of the owner; 5. Posting of any sexual-related materials including, but not limited to, pictures, links or sexually explicit text; 6. The use of capital letters, which is the equivalent of “yelling” on the Internet; 7. Advertising of any kind in forums other than those designated as advertising forums; 8. Posting in a language other than English; 9. Posting the same message in multiple forums or threads; 10. Spamming of any kind on the forums or through private messaging; 11. Utilizing the forums as a gathering place for e-mail addresses or other forms of contact methods to sell goods or services; 12. Disrespecting fellow community members; 13. Posting messages that contain simply, “Check your PM/email” or similar; 14. "Bumping" a thread before 24 hours have passed. 15. "Bumping" a thread more than one time in a row. 16. Posting referral or affiliate links anywhere in the forums, including the advertising forums; 17. “Flaming” other members; 18. Falsely “Reporting Posts” to the moderators; 19. Abusing the moderators and admins in any manner; 20. Directing users to the advertising forums for the purpose of soliciting your product or services; or 21. Making meaningless posts which just contain smileys or phrases such as “LOL”; 22. Posting on behalf a banned member. 23. Posting an adult or any illegal related site's url or link in any of our forums in public.(If selling an adult website, you should mention that it's an adult website and just send the link to those who requested via PM)
Signature rules are as follows:
* Signatures can be no longer than 4 lines. * Images are not allowed in signatures * Signatures may contain a link to your personal site or sites that maybe of use to other members * No advertising * Signatures are expected to follow the same guidelines as posts. * No referral links
Community Members are strongly encouraged to:
* Use the search feature whenever possible; * Post in the most appropriate forum; * Utilize proper grammar at all times so that threads are clear and easy to read;
Each person is allowed to have no more than one account.
