    So my friend made me a logo for my site that I have yet to launch. The logo has the name of the site but behind it is like a tracing of the same word in another color. How can I figure out what exact color it is? I'd like to use that same color to co-ordinate with the rest of the site links but am having troubled determining it. My friend is out of town for the week and I am pretty much done with everything else I need to do before I go live with it. Sorry I am a complete novice when it comes to this. I do have photoshop on my computer but haven't used it much/if at all.

    Thanks in advance.

    Thank you. Yeah I just went into Nvu and worked on some color schemes that are similar. I guess I do have one more question for the masses. The guy that designed my logo made it fairly big and for me to scale it down to 420x90 it seems to lose a lot of its qualities. Is there anyone or anything I can do to make sure that this banner looks good in those dimensions?

    If the image he gave you was in jpg it will loose quality and sharpness when resized. Can I take a look at your file ? I can solve the problem then if you don’t mind.

    It's easy
    just open your logo in photoshop or even take a screenshot from it and paste it in photosho,
    Choose Eyedropper tool (spot a as shown in image), then click on the area of your image you want the color to be picked, then click on the spot b as shown on the image.

    [attachmentid=5]

    Your will see the color code you have picked.
