What are some ways you can promote things for free? The things that first spring to my mind are forum signatures, email signatures, article submission, and submitting to directories and search engines. What do you think?
I think that if the niche you are looking into allows you to build a free website and you have the will, success is inevitable. Be careful with forum signatures though, you have to be sure the forum won't consider it to be spam. In addition, advertising on a myspace blog or webpage is a good free method.
There are many classifieds sites and classified forums who can let you post your ad and websites. Also have found some of the directories sites who post your ad to the complete list of classified sites they hold. Groups are also one of the good promotion solution.
