    I want to know what can i do for increasing rank of website apart from directory submission and search engine submission.

    The best way to increase your site's PR is to gain more quality incoming links to your site and join forums and place you website link in the signature.

    Write articles or press releases and submit them to distribution sites to get more backlinks.

    Exchange links with related high PR sites (recips do still work in moderation).

    Sign up for accounts with social bookmarking sites and post articles from your site there.

    Forum sigs will help you get exposure, but those links usually don't hold too much weight for ranking or PR.
