I hear that AJAX is the new technology to use when it comes to creating dynamic user friendly pages.
I had concerns about it's ability to get indexed on search engines. It is highly multimedia driven and that makes it difficult for spiders to crawl.
If I was going to take on an endeavor like this, it seems that the main traffic that would be driven there would be less organic and more by direct word of mouth and link advertising. Do you think that the tradeoff for a highly graphical and "cool" looking site is enough to make so that I would ignore the web spiders?
