And i think sometimes its true too. I have seen sites come on first page when searching, and they dont have any rank or have like 1 or 2.

As far as I know, yes PR is important for google. There are lots of factors you should consider in term of SEO. On-Page On-Site Off-Site PR is the most important Off-Site factor but it is not absolute ! your rank in search result is depend on the other two factors too. I am not a SEO guru so I can't talk a lot about it but I am also interested to know more about it.
I agree with you that PR is important factor in terms of SEO but many of visitors doesn't have Google toolbar and not knowledge of PR. So PR is not much importnat for normal visitor or buyer of your site. I agree PR is most important for offsite.
This is true that almost 70% or more people has not google toolbar in browsero so they can't understand about PR. So they don't give much importanat to PR. Even i haven't and not many people can understand what is PageRank and how PR is working. I also think that visiter doesn't care about PR.
I think Pagerank is very important factor for your site and business. If you have high PR than you can easily sold your links and also site. Lots of people always check PR when they buy something from your site.
