Being a curious type and often well behind the lead crowd I am only just now starting to learn about social networking sites. MySpace seems to be the most popular but I am aware of others but my question is this. How does Myspace or any other social networking site differ from a Blog?
Both appear to be online diaries so could anyone describe the difference and why you might choose one over the other please?
You are right to say that both MySpace and Wordpress are basically online diaries.
Both are commonly used to share one thoughts and comments with others but have developed over time into marketing tools as well.
For instance Blogs often run Google Adsense and or have links to other products or affiliate sites to help monetize the offering.
The ease of use and the wide acceptance of the principle by the younger set has seen these forms of online communication grow at a rapid rate in recent times.
