In the domain extension nowadays, it seems .com is not the most expensive if I'm not mistaken. As for a newbie with no funds, I settled for free domains that abound in the web. But in your experience, what is the most expensive domain extension in the market today?

It depends on the name but in general .com seems to be the most expensive domain names in the market.

Sometimes some names have a meaning with their extensions for example some names with .it or .at extensions that works like "it" and "at" , in those situations these extensions have extra prices for their meanings but these are just some exceptions.

I think its depends on name and your domain site butas far i know .com, .info, .net are very expansive than .info. I think .info is very cheap than others.

I suggest if you are newbie than you should take sub-domian first for better experience.

.Com is definitely the more expensive extension. I think the reasoning for this is because they have been around the longest and everyone knows that extension. If you lose a website address the first thing you are going to check is .com.

Some international domain name extensions are more expensive eg the .com.au is around $25 per year.
